Upcoming Webinars
How to Support Your Staff: Providing Wellness & Assistance with Healthy Work-Life Balance Thursday, November 21st from 11-12pm EST
Presented by Jon Diggs, LPC, the Managing Partner for Mainspring Counseling and Training Services in Atlanta, Georgia. Jon specializes in staff development, motivation, and process change. When doing direct counseling with patients he specializes in self-esteem issues, trauma, depression, and issues surrounding LGBTQ+ communities.
This webinar will take a look at what organizations can do to better support their hardworking staff. Nonprofits were created to address issues in a community, however, we often are so focused on the day to day work that we forget about the staff and their personal health and wellbeing needs. This rings especially true in social service work providing direct services where there tends to be a high percentage of staff turnover.
Jon will discuss policies and procedures to open the door for conversations around staff burnout, provide programs that have been effective to motivate and support the wellness of employees and describe what a healthy work-life balance looks like.
