Speaker: Judith Venable is the CEO of Educated for Success in Atlanta, GA. Judith has over 30 years of experience educating and training nonprofits in grant writing, board development, and strategic planning.
Overview: Nonprofits were created to address issues in a community and are often founded out of passion. While there are many new thriving nonprofits that do great work and have proper foundational practices in place; there are many that may not be ready to go to that next step, are uncomfortable being independent, and maybe should do their work in different ways. This webinar will take a look at emerging organizations that have struggled to find where they belong. Ms. Venable will discuss some alternatives to being a 501©3 nonprofit and some indications that seeking nonprofit status may not be for you and your organization.
